Kabul (BNA) The new biggest building for police base inaugurated in Urozgan province the other day.
Officials said, the base have been constructed according to military standard for public order police in Tarinkot city of that province.
The base have 32 buildings including a big military academy, administrative parts, depot of weapons, halls for discussions, operative sections, living places, capacity of security and electricity equipped with cameras.
Gen. Matiullah Khan Police chief told BNA, the base have been constructed at the cost of 13 million dollars supported by International Community.
According to him, public order police will be deployed at the mentioned base.
Meanwhile, public order police officials said the construction of new base can have a positive impact on their performance.
At the same time, they are hopeful that this military base to become a largest military training center to police forces in east of the country.
