Kabul (BNA) Three Taliban senior commanders with other 26 insurgents were killed in Balkh province.
Mohammad Hanif Rezaee Shaheen 209 army corps spokesman told BNA, the insurgents were killed in air and ground raids of security troops in outskirt of Zare, Charboldak districts.
Three senior commanders of the Taliban were also among the dead.
Ten other insurgents were also injured and numerous of weapons were seized in the operation, said Rezsaee.
According to Shaheen 209 army corps spokesman, a soldier was also martyred in the operation.
