Deputy PM Called for Solidarity of Afghans

KABUL (BNA) Deputy Prime Minister for political affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir met with several Shia scholars in Sepadar Palace, on Saturday.

A statement by his office said the deputy prime minister, expressed his condolences for the lives lost and wounded in a recent explosion on the days of Muharram in the west of Kabul and shared his grief with the families of the victims.

Jawad Salehi, the deputy of the Shia Ulema Council, expressed appreciation for the efforts of the security forces for ensuring the security of the Ashura days and said that the people and the security forces jointly provide security for the mentioned ceremony.

They shared the same suggestion with the deputy of the Prime Minister’s Office.

Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy of the prime minister, said that the Islamic Emirate, serves all Afghans, without any religious or ethnic ties.

The security forces are trying to prevent any evil intentions of Afghanistan’s enemies, he added.

Mawlavi Abdul Kabir stressed unity among Afghans and said that such incidents will not cause disunity among Afghans.

National unity and ensuring stability are the main goals of the Islamic Emirate, he said.
