Kabul (BNA) The Afghan and coalition forces launching a series of operations within the last 24 hours in different provinces killed 19 armed insurgents.
Interior ministry press office said BNA, the operations conducted by Afghan and coalition forces in the relevant areas of Nangarhar, Urozgan, Logar, Khost, Farah, Ghor and Helmand provinces killed 19 armed insurgents and arrested 10 others.
A quantity of weapons and explosive materials were seized.
Also the national police forces discovered and defused three mines from outskirts of Faryab and Logar provinces.
