Deputy PM Kabir Stressed on Narcotics Eradication, Improving Security

KABUL (BNA) In a meeting with political aide to the Prime Minister, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, the Deputy Interior Minister Mawlavi Abdul Haq discussed the complete eradication of narcotics and treatment of the addicted in the country.

Mawlavi Abdul Kabir directed the deputy interior minister to take active measures to end illicit drug trafficking in the country, rehabilitate drug addicts and strengthen security for the public, said a statement.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Ministry of Interior for counter-narcotics said that in the last 18 months, the Department has collected and treated tens of thousands of addicts from different parts of the country and is still striving to put an end to the drug trafficking or dealing in the country.
