Kabul (BNA) In Media High Council’s session held yesterday under the chairmanship of minister of information and culture Abdul Bari Jahani, members of commission on addressing media complaints and violations were selected through open elections according to articles of mass media law.
In the elections held for selection of nine members of the commission, Mohammad Daud Tofan, Khudabakhsh Muhsini, Wahid Gharwal, Humaira Saqib, Rahim Jami, Waheeduddin Arghanoon, Zia Bomya, Sediqullah Tawhidi and Brishna Alemi were unanimously selected. The commission has been formed based on the last adjustment of the mass media law. The session was also attended by deputy minister of publications for information and culture Sayede Mujgan Mustafavi, deputy minister of communications and information technology Eng. Baryali Hasan and members of the council. Likewise, in consideration to received complaints in connection with social networks publications were discussed in the session and it was decided that decision would be made in cooperation with ministry of communications in this regard in coming session.
