Takhar (BNA) Mawlvi Ijazul Haq, known as Khabib, the deputy shadow governor of Taliban for Rustaq district of Takhar, killed with seven of his men last night.
The Special Operations Corps’ press office told BNA that the Taliban were killed during an attack on security and defense bases in Taluqan.
According to the report, a large amount of Taliban weapons fell into the hands of the security forces during the clash.
The Taliban have not said anything about this so far.
