Kabul (BNA) The national army personnel in combating and cleaning up operations in some provinces of the country, killed three insurgents and detained 7 suspects yesterday.
According to defense ministry press office to BNA, the mentioned operations carried out in the outskirts of Khost, Ghazni, Helmand, Farah and Kandahar province, in which three insurgents were killed and seven suspects were detained.
A Kalashnikov, 8 grenades, a set of communication mean, a quantity of ammonium nitrite and sum of 170,000 Pakistani rupees were seized by these forces and also tens mines have been defused in this operation.
Four national army personnel were martyred and three others were injured in this operation, said the source.
