Kabul (BNA) We were informed with plenty of regret that heavy rains shower and disastrous floods in Jouzjan, faryab, Sar-e-Pul and Badghis provinces have caused martyrdom and wounding of large number of people and high damages.
Afghanistan Nationwide Ulema Council (ANUC) expressing deep sympathy and condolence to affected people of these areas, wishes heavenly abode for martyrs, immediate recovery for wounded and great patience to victims’ relatives from the court of Almighty Allah.
The ANUC also request, National Disasters Management Authority (NDMA), ARCS and other local and international institutions to take immediate steps to send relief assistance to needy people using all their available resources and prevent expansion of the disaster.
