Aibak City (BNA) At a cost of AFN 179,905,000 funded by the National Solidarity Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/NSP) 124 public utility projects have been completed in Dara Souf Bala district of northern Samangan province.
According to information of relation and publication department of MRRD to BNA, these projects comprise the construction of school buildings, community center, digging of water wells with hand pump, supplies of water drinking, agricultural water canals, water dams, extension of water networks, hydroelectric dams, protection walls, culverts, bridges and graveling of rural roads.
Approximately, the families of more than 90 villages in different communities had an opportunity to gain access to basic human needs upon completion of these projects.
Since its inception in Samangan province, the NSP covered 418 villages, which so far has been able to execute 1662 infrastructure projects in different sectors.
