Badghis Elders Calls For More Checkpoints To Stabilize Peace, Security

Kabul (BNA) The first vice president General Abdul Rashid Dustom received a delegation of elders and notables from Abkamari district, Badghis province, BNA reported.
Speaking on behalf of others, lawmaker Azeta Rafaat briefed the vice president about the security problems and Taliban activities in Abkamari district. In the meeting, an elderly person said that more than 170 families had left their houses due to Taliban oppression and are living under tent in Qalai Now, and called for establishing more security checkpoints in the district to stabilize peace and security there. According to another report, the first vice president also received a delegation of Turk ethnic living in Herat province and a delegation of Afghans living in Saudi Arabia.
