Kabul (BNA) An individual was caught with 1,718 Kgs of heroin in his stomach at Kabul airport, police said Saturday.
The Counter Narcotics Police of Afghanistan in a statement said that no smuggler had swallowed this amount of the banned material and that the latest smuggler set record. The discovery also led to the arrest four other members of the smuggling network in the city.
The five culprits confessed to their crimes and their case was referred to the Counter Narcotics Justice Center for further investigation, according to the statement.
