UAE Ready to Buy Afghan Saffron, President Ghani

Kabul (BNA) President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani during his visit in the United Arab Emirate (UAE) met with the Arab country based Afghan traders commending their role in scaling up their country’s exports, BNA reported.
During his meeting with the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, President Ghani said the UAE has promised to purchases the Afghan saffron. Azerbaijan was also ready to purchase almond, grapes and onion from Afghanistan and asked the UAE based Afghan traders to use the available opportunities for the Afghan exports in this Arab country’s markets, to invest for Afghanistan productions and set a special export targets in this field. “Security threats are being rebuffed, as the ministries of defense and interiors have been directed to disarm illegal armed individuals within three months,” said the President adding the ground will be paved for investing in the country’s mines sector. Pointing to the banking problem, the President said that the private sector was behind the banking crisis neither the government nor abusing have caused the banking system weaken in the country. He said investigation by a valid international company was necessary. The acting minister of interior has been instructed to work on a mechanism for the employment of such of such a company.
