Dozens of families receive humanitarian assistance in Sur-e-Pul

Sar-e-pul (BNA) ACTED Humanitarian Institutions, distributed cash assistance to 400 families affected by drought and were internally displaced in Sayad’s district of Sar-e-Pul province.

Mullah Mohammad Nader Haqju, deputy governor of Sar-e-Pul province, told BNA, that ACTED office in Sar-e-Pul have been working to assists 4,900 families affected by drought and internally displaced in the center and Sayad district of the province in coordination with the Sar-e-Pul leadership. 32,000 in cash and in value of 20,000 winter packages with a total cost of 52,000 Afghanis donated to each family.

The deputy governor of Sar-e-Pul province thanked the ACTID Institution and other charitable organizations and called for more support and further cooperation of these organizations in the future for the residents of Sar-e-Pul.

The head of ACTED assured, that the Institution will continues to provide assistance to needy families affected by drought in the province in the future.
