Reconciliation Will Be Implemented By Preserving Present Values, Constitution And Achievement of New Era: Khalili

Kabul (BNA) General John Allen General Commander of the NATO forces in Afghanistan met yesterday with Mohammad Karim Khalili second vice-president during which they discussed security situation in Afghanistan and other issues of interest.
Khalili expressed satisfaction over the role played by NATO in the struggle against terrorism and security and emphasized on the equipment, and training of the security forces by the international community so these forces can defend the territorial integrity of Afghanistan and ensure the security of the Afghan in better manner.
Stressing o the government efforts towards ensuring of peace and the reconciliation process with the opposition forces, Khalili added that this process will be carried by preserving of the present values, the Constitution and the achievements of the new era in Afghanistan.
John Allen expressing pleasure over the upgrading of the capacities of the Afghan security forces added that the Afghan force can considering their combat abilities attain more responsibilities in ensuring security of Afghanistan.
He promised that the international partners of Afghanistan are exerting efforts to ensure strengthening of the Afghan security forces and expressed his support to the viewpoints of Khalili and stressed that the international community especially the NATO, after 2014 will remain on the side of the government and people of Afghanistan.
At this meeting Khalili appreciated the special attention of General John Allen in upgrading the defensive capacities of the country’s security forces.
