Traffic Incident Claimed Lives of Five Civilians

Qalat (BNA) At least 5 people were killed and 25 others were injured following a road accident in Kabul-Kandahar highway today.
According to local government officials, the incident took place on Kabul-Kandahar highway in Shahr-e-Safa district.
Provincial police chief, Gen. Ghulam Sakhi Rogh Lewanai, said the incident took place after a passenger vehicle collided with a truck.
Gen. Rogh Lewanai confirmed that five people were killed and 25 others injured following the incident.
He said the injured individuals have been taken to hospital and a number of the injured individuals are in critical condition.
He added women and children are among the victims of the incident.
He called the reason behind the incident high speed of drivers.
