People of Nangarhar Build Fourteen Kilometers of Rural Roads

Jalalabad (BNA) A number of Nangarhar residents built a rural road in an unprecedented move.

The 14-kilometer-long road connects Batikot district to Behsud, Kamah and Goshta districts.

Residents of these parts of Nangarhar have been having transporting problems in their agricultural products and patients to the city’s markets and hospitals for years due to the lack of smooth and close roads.

According to reports, a number of local elders, with the cooperation of dozens of young people, are working on the construction of this rural road.

Ataullah Khogyani, spokesman for Nangarhar governor told BNA that the people have brought tools and are building the road.
