National Cricket Team Arrives In Australia

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan National Cricket Team arriving in Australia, received by the Australian foreign minister and chairman of the country’s cricket federation.
Afghanistan national cricket team had left for Australia to start a series of exercises to prepare 50-overs of 2015 World Cup competitions. 
According to BNA report, the country’s national cricket team will start its exercises today in Australia and participate in four friendly competitions before starting official competitions. The team will face in its first match with Bangladesh and then with Sri Lanka, Scotland, Australia, New Zealand and England.  According to national cricket team captain Nabi Esakhil, national team players had exercised for six months to have achievements in the World Cup. It is the first time that opportunity of playing has been provided to the country’s national cricket team in Cricket World Cup. It is worth mentioning that Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan upon bidding farewell to the country’s national cricket team instructed Afghanistan ambassador to Australia to provide necessary facilities to Afghan players in host country. Meanwhile, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan accompanied yesterday the country’s cricket players to airport and asked the team to return home with achievements.
