Dr. Abdullah Inaugurates Two Faculties of Bamyan University

Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah inaugurated the newly built complexes of social sciences and geology faculties of Bamyan University here the other day, BNA said yesterday.
Each of the buildings were built in three floors which have conference halls, classrooms, administrative units and laboratories. Addressing the event, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah pledged to build gym and library for Bamyan University from the government budget.
Pointing to zero-cultivation of opium and use of drug in Bamyan, the Chief Executive called it a true service for the next generation, asking Bamyan people and university lecturers to achieve more success within short period of time. Hinting to balanced development in the country and the ministry of higher education’s 10-year development plan, the acting minister hoped Afghanistan own an economy based on education in the future. Bamyan governor Tahir Zahir briefed the participants on building of the faculties, saying the two complexes were built by the ministry of counternarcotic with total amount of 74 million USD.
