Farah City (BNA) Afghan security personnel with discovering and defusing two planted mines succeeded to prevent deadly blasts in western Farah province.
Security official in Farah told BNA, the mines had been planted by Taliban militants in crowded areas of Bala Balock district of the province to organize deadly incidents on civilians.
The mines with cooperation of local people have been discovered and neutralized by Afghan security forces, the source added.
No one has arrested accused of the mines planting.
