Kabul (BNA) The third Youth General Session of the Youth High Council of Afghanistan (AYHC) had continued it meeting for the 2nd day yesterday and continued its debate on the ability of national security forces in ensuring security after 2014 and the role of youth in peace and stability.
In the beginning, Timor Shah Ishaqzai the head of youth affairs directorate of the ministry of information and culture, in his speech while highlighting the role of youth in bringing about peace, added the youth alongside the national security forces can play their role in ensuring security and fighting corruption and violence against women.
Mohammad Masum Stanikzai the Secretary of High Peace Council also in his speech described the youth as big asset of the country. Saying they had paid huge price in civil strife in the country.
He also briefed the participants about the outcome of High peace Council delegation’s recent visit to Pakistan.
A representative of UN on women also spoke at the session and called for ensuring women rights in society.
An exhibition of paining of Herat Youth with having 30 tableaux was also inaugurated at the session.
