Kabul (BNA) Since long, the TUTAP was planned by a German company in the name of Fischner. This company intended to promote the 25-years master plan of Afghanistan in the sector of electricity. Now, the brawls on itinerary of transmission line of TUTAP caused the work of this long and profitable project be promoted slowly. In connection with changing the itinerary of 500 KW power transmission line from Bamyan to Salang a protesting rally was held in Kabul last Monday with participation of some government high-ranking officials, political figures, members of parliament and a great number of people. The protestors of this gathering called changing the itinerary of transmission line of TUTAP project from Bamyan to Salang as injustice and added that TUTAP is our red line, till the government not to respond positively to our this demand, we would not retreat. Likewise, they regard changing the itinerary of TUTAP transmission line from Bamyan to Salang violation of citizenship rights.
But, president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, hours after this rally in a half-hour message, wanted protestors in such cases we keep open always the doors of negotiation. Instead of sentiments, we resort to professional reasoning and should take collective policy as proof for our decision-making civil protests that has its own important role in shaping-up of political activity and passing from violence-based methods to political and social ones, the president remarks. He adds; but considering imposed war, and existence of the enemy in ambush for misuse of every opportunity, it is needed to promote the national conversation in mutual understanding and close cooperation. Addressing the people of Afghanistan, President Ghani has suggested: as a nation and government, we need, in the threshold of two important supporting conferences to be held by our international partners this year in Warsaw and Brussels, we show our international partners that we are able to make decision in regard with our national projects end if the considerations are different, we can attain our goal through consultation and understanding. This method is the only way of nation to get success in balanced development and continuation of support of our international partners.
Once more, the president emphatically suggested: our commitment on balanced development from among them transmission of electricity to noble residents of Bamyan and central regions is remained on its own place. We did what was necessary for speeding up of this process. Based on the same partnership and sharing of various strata of the society in development, economic, political, cultural, social and military issues are the positive changes and are a matter of hope. This display this issue that today, the comprehension that our people are enjoying are in favor of balanced development in all regions that so far, their demands and primary needs are not investigated. So, it’s necessary to join hands in a national conversation, a commission that would be formed by the president should investigate the documents, files and the measures relating to this national project and would make decisions the sides involved be satisfied.
