Herat (BNA) Eight Taliban assailants were killed and injured in Shindand district, Herat province by Afghan Security Forces (ASF) last night.
The clash occurred while dozens of Taliban affiliated to Mullah Jabar group stormed on police checkpoints.
Three Taliban attackers were killed and five others have been injured in the conflict.
An official of security forces was injured and his health condition reported satisfactory in the clash.
Two mines were also seized by security forces as well.
