CE Deputy Returns Home

Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Deputy Haji Mohammad Muhaqiq, leading a high-level government delegation after participating in annual peace session held in Norway, has returned home the other day. Arriving in Hamid Karzai International Airport, Haji Mohammad Muhaqiq told journalists the session had not been official talks but an open discussion and its participants shared their visions related to peace. Chief executive Deputy added in the session President of Columbia had spoken of his country’s experience in connection with peace and counter narcotics, saying that making use of the Columbia’s experience could be useful for Afghanistan. Norway holds peace annual session for peace issues at international level and invites experienced figures from various world countries in particular those countries involved in domestic disputes to exchange their visions related to solution of disputes and ending battles in countries facing with it. This year, the session was held related to deadly disputes in Middle East, Afghanistan and Africa. The session was attended by chief executive deputy Mohammad Muhaqiq, former vice president Mohammad Younus Qanooni, former minister of finance Anwarulhaq Ahadi, deputy minister of foreign affairs Hekmat Khalil Karzai and a member of high peace council Farhadullah Farhad, while a number of representatives of Taliban also participated in the session. According to another report, chief executive deputy Haji Mohammad Muhaqiq met yesterday with British ambassador to Kabul.
