Afghanistan, Iraq Facing Common Enemy, Iraqi Delegation

Kabul (BNA) Foreign Affairs Minister Salahuddin Rabbani met yesterday with members of Iraqi high-ranking delegation arriving in Kabul yesterday.
In the meeting, minister of foreign affairs expressed his deep sadness over terrorist attack by Daesh terrorist group on Iraqi embassy to Kabul and said, “From the beginning of the attack conducted by Daesh terrorist group on Iraqi embassy to Kabul, I’d kept in touch with Afghan security forces and been concerned over safety of the embassy’s diplomats and employees and now I’m very happy that all diplomats and employees of the embassy are safe”.
Minister of foreign affairs congratulated recent victories of Iraqi forces against ISIS and freeing of Musul city.
Afterwards, Iraqi delegation while praising Afghan security forces for executing successfully operation and safely taking the country’s diplomats and employees out of the embassy said Afghanistan and Iraq were facing with common enemy and the people and government of Iraq were determined to seriously fight terrorists.
In the meeting, the Iraqi delegation invited Afghanistan minister of foreign affairs to pay a visit to Iraq in a proper time.
