Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai met with Dr. Ali Akbar Salehi Minister of foreign affairs of Iran at the presidential palace the other day.
At this meeting they discussed bilateral relations, further expansion of regional cooperation and the conference of the Non-Aligned Countries.
The Iranian Foreign Minister conveying the greetings and good sentiments of the president of Iran to Hamid Karzai, thanked president Karzai for his participation at the conference of leaders of the Non-Aligned Countries and wished the Afghan nation prosperity and welfare.
At the meeting discussions also took place about the Chabahr port and access of Afghanistan to it.
