Thursday May 17, 2018 Tehran (BNA) At least 15 anti-government militias were killed during a joint military operation led by Afghan security forces to recapture Tala-o-Barfak district, northern Baghlan province last night. Zabihullah Shoja spokesman of police chief in Baghlan told BNA reporter, the joint military operation launching in relevant areas of Tala-o-Barfak district of the province, in which 15 armed oppositions were killed and four others were wounded until now. Sahib Dad Ghfouri district governor of Doshi in a telephonic contact told BNA correspondent, the military operation has started at 12:00 am last night that Taliban militants sustained heavy casualties and Afghan security forces are progressing toward Tala-o-Barfak district. Based on reports, Taliban militants destroyed Tala-o-Barfak’s district building, set on fire military vehicles and now they are escaping from the center of the district.
