Kabul (BNA) At least six fighters of Taliban group were killed during clashes with Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) in eastern Kunar province.
The conflicts have took place in various parts of Manogi district and Asadabad city the provincial capital of the province.
Sylab army corps’ press office in the east of the country in a statement issued that, six members of Taliban group were killed during clashes.
The insurgents have been targeted by ANDSF, while they carried out attacks on security checkpoints, the source added.
Meanwhile, Afghan national police personnel by discovering and naturalizing seven round of different type of mines succeeded to prevent several bloodiest incidents in crowded areas of Kunar province.
No one was arrested accused of the foiled mine plantings.
