Kabul (BNA) Chaired by President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, cabinet meeting was held on Monday at Chahar Chenar of Presidential Palace.
In the meeting, President Ghani first spoke related to situation of districts that have been cleared from presence of Taliban and in consideration to problems and challenges facing these districts, all ministries and government institutions were given tasks to manage and provide clear aid package in various fields to the districts.
Meanwhile, the country’s President also tasked relevant officials to assign a cabinet meeting for discussion related to addressing challenges and problems facing internally displaced people in the country. In the meeting, President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani tasked state ministry for disaster management and humanitarian affairs to take necessary preventive steps in close cooperation with national statistics and information authority for assistance to IDPs in accordance to predicted weather in the country to address problems of the IDPs during winter season. According to the meeting’s agenda, minister of justice delivered new draft law on labor, draft regulation on mining and draft regulation human resources cadres to the cabinet meeting. After reviewing the respective draft law and regulations, the cabinet approved them in Principle.
