Kabul (BNA) Prof. Mohammad Rasoul Bawari, Acting Minister of Information and Culture in a meeting yesterday with head of Agha Khan Foundation’s cultural section heard works report of the section.
In the meeting, head of cultural section of the foundation Ajmal Maiwandi briefed related to works of the foundation in connection with historic monuments and cultural heritages which were under work in the country.
Maiwandi also granted a copy of book containing pictures and drawings of a number of Afghanistan historic monuments renovated by the Agha Khan Foundation’s cultural section to acting minister of information and culture.
In the meeting, Prof. Mohammad Rasoul Bawari while praising cultural section of the foundation for protection and renovation of the country’s historic monuments stressed on further cooperation of the foundation with MoIC.
Meanwhile, head of the foundation’s cultural section assured of the foundation’s continued cooperation with MoIC.
According to another report, acting minister of information and culture participated in a ceremony held yesterday for handing over historic artifacts seized in Jawzjan.
