Eight armed rebels were killed as a result of International forces bombardment in Washir district of Helmand province.
These persons were killed in a joint operation of Afghan and Coalition forces supported by air force. In this operation two motorcycles were sized from the rebels too. According to another report, in a separate operation taken place in Mosa Qallah district of Helmand province an armed rebel was killed and two others were arrested with their arms. Report said the personnel of Maiwand army corp. in another operation in Nawa, Sangeen and Grishk districts of Helmand province sized a number of mines, military equipments and arms. BIA reported.
