Qanooni Expresses Deep Sadness Over Floods Causing Human Fatalities In Jouzjan Badghis

Kabul (BNA) First Vice President Mohammad Younis Qanooni has expressed sadness in a message over flowing floods caused by heavy rains in Jouzjan and Badghis provinces causing more than 50 people dead including women and children.
The message said, “I’m offering deep sadness, condolence and sympathy to all mourning families and wishing paradise to those who have lost their life and patience to the relatives.
Floods have also destroyed agricultural fields, residential houses, gardens and other buildings, making me and other relevant officials of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan sad and depressed.” “Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has instructed governors and all relevant officials and aid organizations in capital cities of Jouzjan and Badghis provinces to use all means available in aid to affected people and families who have lost beloved ones, properties and cattle due to flowing floods in the provinces,” the message added.
The first vice president said in the message, “I’m offering once again my condolence to all those families who have lost their beloved ones in the floods.”
