Kabul (BNA) Fazel Hadi Muslimyar chairman of the senate met yesterday with some elders and influential of Shahre Paroon, center of Nuristan.
The elders while sharing their environmental problems said that a person by the name of Commander Mawlawi Sadeq from related areas of that province for some time is disturbing the people of the province to the extent the people were compelled to leave their residences.
He also prevents the people to build up their homes. They said that they complained about this issue time and again but the local authorities did nothing to stop him.
The chairman of the senate emphasized on consolidation of legality and preservation of the rights of the people.
He noted that the local authorities are duty bound to address people’s problems and promised that the senate will try to address these problems through its commissions.
