Eight Soldiers Released from Taliban Prison in Baghlan

Kabul (BNA) Eight soldiers were released from a Taliban prison in Baghlan during a commando operation last night.

Fawad Aman, Deputy Spokesman for National Defense Ministry told BNA that in a joint commando operation on a Taliban prison in Omar Khel village, Baghlan Jadid district of Baghlan province, eight security forces who were captive in Taliban prison have been released.

Baghlan is one of the most insecure provinces in the country, which has seen increase of Taliban attacks in recent months.
