Sheberghan City (BNA) A man with packages of narcotic drugs was arrested in Jawzjan province.
170 kgs of opium was seized from the packages.
General Rahmatullah Turkistani police official of Jawzjan province told BNA, the arrested man placed skillfully narcotic packages in a car and wanted to smuggle it to Mazar-e-Sharif city.
It is said that the narcotic packages was seized by security forces in Dasht-e-Laili area.
Another report says that the security forces arrested three persons on charges of selling drugs in some parts of Sheberghan city.
