Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, in a statement, on the advent of soldier's day congratulated the day to the country's defense and security forces of the country, a statement from the Presidential Palace said Friday.
The country's president wished paradise for the country's security and defense personnel who devoted their lives to protect and defend the country's territorial integrity, national honors and high interests and complete recovery to those sustained injuries.
"You belong to the national institutions, you are the guardians of the country's constitution, supporters of strengthen of national unity and rule of law, whom your resistance in war caused enemies fail to reach their designed targets," the country's president said.
The president also lauded the country's security and defense forces for their efforts to liberate up to 10 districts from the enemy, where they restored the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan's rule, besides remaining in offensive status, said the statement.
President Ghani also pointed to the people, supporting of the country's security and defense forces and said all their devolution and victories against terrorists were the results of the support of people of different stratum.
He said the defense and security forces of the country have proved that they were apolitical and belonged to Afghanistan only and that they have played their role in the institutionalization of democracy, as the main principle in the Afghan democratic society.
"As a commander-in-chief, I assure you that you are enjoying strong supports of me and the international community and we would do our best in financing, equipping and training you further than ever," said the president, as quoted in the statement.
“As the first servant of the country, my position and the struggles of the security and defense sector leadership and your sacrifices and deviations caused to remain witnessing eye-catching reduction in violation,” the president praised.
The president also said the country’s security and defense forces would do their best to help peace process, which is the main demand of the people of Afghanistan, reach its intended result, as they could successfully implement the reduction in violation process.
