Kabul (BNA) The European Union would continue to support the Afghan National Police (ANP), interior ministry said yesterday.
The assurance according to BNA was given in the meeting by interior minister general Ghulam Mujtaba Patang with the in-charges of the political and security committee of European Union in Brussels recently.
He also noted that the support of the EU is essential for the capacity building and professionalism of national police in Afghanistan.
Interior minister also said that the new commitment of NATO to support Afghanistan security forces is very important for the country.
