Sar-e-Pul City (BNA) Two murderers of a tribal elder were gunned down by local people in northern Sar-e-Pul province the other day.
Col. Mohammad Sadeq police chief in Sancharak district of the province told BNA local correspondent, Abdul Rahim known as Haji Rahim a tribal elder and ex-Jihadi commander was martyred by two attackers who riding motorcycles in Archoy village, Sancharak district of the province.
After the incident local people were arrested the attackers and killed both of them, Sadeq added.
The identity of the attackers is not clear yet, investigation underway and two Kalashnikovs and a motorcycle belonging the attackers seized by policemen, Sadeq concluded.
