Kabul (BNA) US President Barack Obama while addressing his annual speech to the US Congress once again expressed US commitments for unified Afghanistan.
President Karzai welcomed this remark of the US President that is compatible with permanent position of Afghanistan and called to the benefit of both countries.
President Karzai also called the statement as positive since he did not advance any deadline for signing of the security and defensive pact, believing that both countries can work with tolerance and joint strive towards start of peace process.
President Karzai added that the time is ripe now an end is put in negative propaganda against Afghanistan as well.
President Karzai emphasized that peace in any world country can ensure stability, progress and unity. For this very reason, Afghanistan has set out practical start of peace as the basic condition for signing of the security and defensive pact with the US.
