Kabul (BNA) The cabinet meeting with President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on the chair held meeting the other day.
At the outset of the meeting the visit of ministers to the provinces came under discussion and it was decided that the issue under a plan should be finalized in the next meeting of the cabinet. Later on the minister for justice presented his report on safeguarding wild animals with the objective to preserve the animals and regularize hunting and it was decided to review the past decisions of the cabinet in this regard. The plan was approved in principle but it was decided that the subject would be discussed in a meeting of ministers for justice, agriculture and irrigation and head of environment directorate under the chairmanship of president to finalize the proposal. Minister for finance presented his report about equipping minting press at the meeting. Head of minting press also presented his report about the financial and technical services of the entity, adding the project with financial support of Germany and a share of 25.4 million Euros and Afghanistan government with a share of 9 million Euros could operate and the minting press would print coins, valuable leaves and several kinds of papers. Approving the proposal of the finance ministry, the cabinet tasked the finance ministry to solve the problem of land in Jangalak area in coordination with Kabul Municipality and present the report to the next meeting of the cabinet.
