Kabul (BNA) The chaotic situation, imposed wars in the country have increased emerge of mercenary circles, killer groups, illegal powerful people, power mangers, irresponsible warlords, violators of human rights, violence against children, teenagers all over the country. This has not only caused anxiety and fear of families and citizens but also is a challenge against educational system and the NUG. Emerge of such hardships, disorders and imposing of social problems, violators children rights violators and continuation of such situation has never been suitable for sound fostering of our children and don’t pave the way of their tranquility towards their educational promotion. Because lack of entertainment areas, recreational sites, proper atmosphere for children playing and luxuries in one hand and their restriction inside the narrow framework of home and social environment on the other means that our children would be deprived of environmental and social freedoms. We have been witnessing extensive subversive activities of mafia groups including children kidnapping, cowardice raping of innocent children in recent years. Our children are facing violence from the environment of home to school, work environment and society.
Despite of taintless attention and cooperation of government as well as private and public supporter organs, this category has been the most vulnerable strata in our society. A number of these children are those who due to lack of supporter or their fathers’ incapability for their support have to be involved in hard jobs beside other family members. These hard jobs include brick making, transmitting, carpentry or working in brick kilns, stone breaking, pottering, venturing on the main roads, even resorting to drugs dealing, membership in smuggling or terrorists groups, suicide attacks etc. Drug addiction particularly children addicts have increased considerably recently. According to are port released by the Ministry of counter-drugs, there are unfortunately over two million addicts in the country including 7pc children. The holy religion of Islam has always ordered kindness and affection to children. For reduction or elimination of violence and operation against children, the private and public concerned bodies should undertake long term educational programs. Preachers have also strong responsibility to propagate religious instructions through mosque’s pulpits and illuminate public minds and condemn violence against children. Extensive propagation is also required by private and public media. Institutionalization of such a culture requires precise long term programs. General mobilization should take place in remote rural areas with support of security forces on reduction and finally elimination of violence against our children. Their natural rights must not be ignored and they should no longer be victimized by tyrant circles.
