Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani congratulated Futsal National Team’s achievements to the people of Afghanistan, his office said in a statement the other day.
The president thanked the country’s futsal national team in-charges, coaches and players for their achievements and prides, adding current achievements mean championship to us and any result being earned on ranking day will be like a championship.
The president instructed the relevant in-charges to send a high-ranking government officials to attend the final day of matches expected to be held in the Islamic Republic of Iran and also tasked the general directorate of affairs administration and physical education department to take necessary measures on returning futsal players to the country.
The president also spoke with futsal national team coach and players via phone and appreciated their efforts.
