Paroon (BNA) Armed Taliban attacked on house of Wantwaigal district governor and set it on fire.
According to the reports, during the attack, Rahmatullah governor of the district was not present.
The incident occurred when a group of armed Taliban attacked the house of governor.
Rahmatullah governor of Wantwaigal district of Nuristan said BNA, first the attackers looted the properties of the house and later on set it on fire.
It is being said, in addition properties, several volumes of holly Quran and other Islamic books were burn.
The governor said, he sustained nearly 300,000 Afghanis damage in the incident.
It is the 2nd time that Taliban set on fire the house of a local official in Nuristan province.
Currently in most parts of Wantwaigal district, Taliban are present and have activity.
