Jalalabad (BNA) A commander of Taliban with his 5 men were killed as a result of heavy firing by army forces in Nangarhar province.
Abdul Khaliq Maroof governor of Hesarak district of Nangarhar said BNA, Afghan forces discovering a hideout of insurgents fired heavy weapons and killed a commander of Taliban called Awalgul along with his 5 men.
According to him, the local people of Hesasrak were harassed and disturb by the commander and his men. According to the report, there were no casualties among civilians and Afghan forces.
