Kabul (BNA) A message has been dispatched on behalf of President Karzai addressed to the Chinese President congratulating him on the eve of New Year, his office said yesterday.
HE Hujin Tao, President of Chinese People’s Republic,
“Please allow me that representing the people of Afghanistan congratulate you and the people of China over the arrival of the New Year. I hope that the New Year will bring in further prosperity for the Chinese people”, a statement from the presidential office said.
The people of Afghanistan are committed towards their friendly ties with the friendly Chinese people and government and are prepared for further consolidation of these ties, the statement quoted Karzai as saying.
I wish you good health and further progress and welfare of the Chinese people, the message points out.
