Farooq Wardak, Former Minister of Education Head Back Home

KABUL (BNA) Dr. Ghulam Farooq Wardak, Minister of Education for the former government returned to Afghanistan on Wednesday, in respective efforts of commission of “return and communication with Afghan personalities”.

According to reports, Mr. Wardak, who traveled to Turkey after the fall of the former administration, said on his repatriation back to the country that most of the former government politicians and officials who are living abroad are optimistic to return to their homes.

“It’s good to be back home” he added, on his arrival at Kabul airport, and called on politicians and former government officials to return back to their country Afghanistan.

Lately, the commission of return and communication with Afghan personalities reported repatriation of several Afghan personalities to the country as on their regular efforts.

Dawlat Waziri, a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, Amanullah Ghalib, head of Da Afghan Breshna Sherkat, and Hosni Mubarak Azizi, deputy Ministry of Transport, are among the former government officials who have returned to their country over the past week.

Ahmadullah Waseeq, a spokesman for the commission of “return and communication with Afghan personalities,” said more politicians and former government officials were expected to return to the country in the coming days.
