Maimana (BNA) A female suicide bomber and her two companions were killed in Faryab yesterday.
Abdul Karim Yurash, spokesman for Faryab police chief, told BNA that the woman, who was trying to blow herself up at Qaisar police headquarters in Faryab district, was identified and killed along with her two companions before reaching her target.
Yurash added that three other attackers were injured in the incident.
Nothing has been said yet about the identity of the attackers.
