Kabul (BNA) The recent statements of the Second Vice-President delivered in UN general assembly that asks Pakistan to eliminate the hideouts of terrorists in that country widely reflected among Afghan people and warmly welcomed.
BNA social and political affairs analyst commenting on the issue writes, recently Sarwar Danish the Second Vice-President delivered his speech in UN general assembly session. He analyzing and assessing the situation of Afghanistan, the region and the world, called the current fighting in Afghanistan an unannounced war and ensuring security a grave challenge. The Afghan Vice-President pointed out that the Afghan innocent people have been still facing threats and relentless attacks of terrorist networks and extremist groups who have trained, armed abroad, and sent for bloodshed and destruction in to Afghanistan. The Afghan Second Vice-President in his speech asked the relevant states and countries in counter terrorism and extremism campaign honestly meet their commitments already made, not define terrorists and extremists as good and bad terrorists and extremists, and not weaken the order of the world any more. The Second Vice-President particularly addressing Pakistan, the country that deeply involved in current crisis of Afghanistan said that Pakistan should destroy the strongholds and bases of terrorists and extremist in its territory.
The Second Vice-President presenting undeniable documents and evidences regarding to the presence of terrorists in Pakistan soil asked the participant of this grand session that where were the former leaders of Al–Qaeda and Taliban and where the current leaders of Taliban and Haqani’s terrorist networks and how terrorists and extremists are funding and equipping? Presenting the issue of Pakistan’s support from terrorist and extremists groups by Afghan Vice-President in UN general assembly can be consider a positive and active move toward holding an international gathering on coordinated counter terrorism and extremism campaign that the entire world suffering of those evil and heinous phenomenon. With great regret, Pakistan is at head of countries that support terrorist and extremist networks that use extremism and terrorism as a means for achieving their ambitious goals. Extremism and terrorism deeply rooted in Pakistan, that threatens the life of humanity, and like a deadly disease threatens the physical and spiritual safety of the citizens of many countries across the world. Settling and overcoming such a grave problem, it requires the international community to consciously, and decisively fight against the notorious phenomenon terrorism that threatens not only the region but also the entire world without any discrimination. Suppressing terrorists and punishing the countries like Pakistan that support them can guaranty peace and stability in the region and world as a whole.
