Kabul (BNA) During the last 24 hours at least fifty-one Taliban militants were killed in different parts of the country.
Ministry of Interior press office spokesman told BNA, Afghan National Army (ANA) forces conducted several clearing operations in relevant areas of Baghlan, Sar-e-Pol, Balkh, Urozgan, Helmand and Nangarhar provinces, in which fifty-one insurgents were killed and five others wounded.
Seven Kalashnikovs, four pistols, six communication means, two hundred kg explosive materials and some heavy and light weapons have been seized following the operations.
Also (ANA) forces discovered and defused four mines in relevant areas of Takhar, Khost and Paktia provinces.
