Fifty-Seven Taliban Militants Killed, 84 Wounded

Kabul (BNA) In several operations conducted by Afghan National army forces fifty-seven armed rebels were killed in different parts of the country.
Ministry of Defense press office spokesman told BNA, the operations launched aiming to ensure security in insecure areas of Paktika, Ghazni, Zabul, Helmand, Kandahar and Nangarhar provinces, as a result of which fifty-seven insurgents lost their lives, eighty-four wounded and six others arrested.
Some military equipment and ammunitions have been seized in the operations.
According to another report, National army forces recently discovered and defused 48 anti-vehicle mines in different parts of the country.
